Five models make up the flagship end of our adult electric dirt bike collection, all priced at $8,500 and above: the Sur-Ron Storm Bee ($8,500), Zero FX ($10,995), KTM Freeride E-XC ($11,299), KTM Freeride E-SM ($11,499), Stark Varg ($12,900) and the Stark Varg EX ($13,500) — our single most expensive model.
What flagship pricing actually buys
At this tier, the differences between brands become genuinely meaningful rather than mostly cosmetic. Stark's Varg platform is built around power fully tunable from 10 to 80 hp on one machine — track-focused adjustability no other brand in our catalog matches at any price. KTM's Freeride E-XC and E-SM split the tier by discipline: the E-XC leans enduro and trail, the E-SM leans supermoto. Zero brings a motorcycle manufacturer's long production history to the FX, and the Storm Bee is Sur-Ron's own step up from its better-known Light Bee and Ultra Bee models.
Street-legal, sometimes
The Varg EX is the one genuine exception to the off-road-only rule in our entire dirt bike lineup: depending on where you live, it can be registered for street use, trading some of the standard Varg's pure track focus for roughly 20% more range. That path is real but regional — it depends on local registration, insurance and licensing, so confirm the rules where you live before assuming it applies. Buying at the flagship tier
Every model here clears our $2,000 free-shipping threshold outright, and the 10% crypto discount is worth $850-1,350 depending on the model — real money at this price point. A 20% reservation deposit is also a common way to secure a flagship bike while arranging the balance; our team confirms exact configuration and current stock before any order is finalized.
Off-road use, with one exception
Every model here is an off-highway vehicle built for private land and trail use, not public roads. Riding street-legally means sorting out registration, insurance and licensing in your state, so plan on a helmet and full protective gear and check local OHV rules before you head out. The Stark Varg EX is the sole exception, and only with the appropriate regional registration.
